Worx Studio operates as a distinct entity from my partnership at Synesis Hospitality Design Group and Bird Studio. While those ventures focus on large-scale hospitality and collaborative frameworks, Worx is my personal laboratory.
I am the logical, organized, structured type but with the propensity to "color outside the lines" from time to time. I am an award-winning architect who views architecture as distinct from design—more technical, more rational. Yet, here, I explore the tension between that rationality and artistic impulse.
I view architecture fundamentally as the creation of voids within an envelope. While the skin defines the aesthetic, the space defines the experience. I manipulate light and shadow to visualize this void, allowing the structure to track intangibles like the passing of time.
